The Hummingbird Collective

Intake Call

The Hummingbird Collective is a two-year trauma-informed ceremonial facilitation training through the Andean Medicine Wheel dedicated to personal development and inner transformation. Before we can hold space for others in profound processes of healing and awakening, we must first cultivate a strong and grounded foundation within ourselves. This journey calls for deep introspection and alchemy—transforming our own wounds into golden seeds of wisdom that become medicine for those we serve.

Participants will become embodied in principles of nervous system regulation and co-regulation, learning to skillfully navigate the diverse expressions of trauma that often emerge within ceremonial spaces. The Hummingbird Collective places a strong emphasis on conscious leadership, guiding facilitators to develop ethical frameworks rooted in integrity and humility. This includes dismantling internalized structures of hierarchy, colonialism, power imbalance, and cultural appropriation.

In complement to the inner work, students receive hands-on training in ceremonial tools, rituals, and facilitation practices that strengthen both presence and skill. Reverence and responsibility form the foundation of this path, honoring the sacred art of ceremony as a living expression of service, integrity, and love.

You will:

  • Build ethical frameworks rooted in integrity and embody them through your facilitation practice. Establish ceremonial etiquette guidelines that cultivate safety and trust, allowing participants to fully lean into their journeys while being held in your care.

  • Develop an intimate relationship with your own shadow, evolving from unconscious projection to conscious integration. Learn to honor the shadow as an aspect of the soul that serves your growth and path. Explore the principles of shadow work as tools for harm reduction and benefit enhancement within facilitation.

  • Become trauma informed through the lens of spiritual wellness and ceremonial care. Learn to recognize and navigate generational, cultural, and relational trauma, while deconstructing internalized conditions that may perpetuate cycles of harm.

  • Gain a strong foundation in nervous system regulation techniques to create environments of safety and deep transformation within ceremony.

  • Learn to design and facilitate a ceremony from conception to completion. Develop skills in creating ceremonial outlines, crafting a vision, managing participant intake, marketing and design, opening sacred space, guiding rituals and activities, closing, and supporting integration.

  • Cultivate a profound relationship with sacred space, understanding its principles, depth, and spiritual significance. Develop confidence and skill in holding a ceremonial container grounded in reverence and empowerment.

  • Enhance your intuitive and psychic awareness to perceive subtle energies and discern how to skillfully navigate and apply your facilitation techniques during ceremony.

  • Learn to attune to your ceremonial container through altered states of perception, reading the field intuitively and responding with grace and precision.

  • Awaken your ancestral wisdom by illuminating generational wounds, patterns, and ancestral imprints. Reclaim your indigeneity as both a birthright and a sacred responsibility.

  • Facilitate advanced energy healing modalities such as DNA activation, spirit release, cord extraction, curse and hex removal, crystalline grid work, and luminous energy body restoration.

  • Develop an intimate relationship with your ceremonial tools, including altars, smoke, resins, incense, drums, rattles, oils, crystals, and other sacred instruments.

  • Embody your role as a ceremonial facilitator in sacred service and stewardship, devoted to the healing and awakening of the greater collective.

Receive Andean rites and activations gifted through the sacred Q’ero lineage—ancestral keepers of the ancient Incan wisdom. These rites are intended to restore harmony within and around us by awakening the bridge between the human heart, the natural world, and the living cosmos. Rooted in the sacred principle of ayni, or right relationship, they remind us to live in reciprocity with all of existence—seen and unseen.

At the heart of these transmissions are the three pathways of balance that form the foundation of the Andean way of life: Llank’ay (Right Action), Munay (Right Love), and Yachay (Right Thought). Llank’ay calls us to live with integrity through the work of our hands and service to the greater good. Munay invites us to open the heart, to embody compassion and unconditional love as guiding forces of our relationships. Yachay cultivates clarity of mind and the wisdom to perceive truth beyond illusion. Together, these principles form a living philosophy that aligns our thoughts, emotions, and actions with the luminous flow of creation, allowing us to walk the beauty way in harmony with all of life.

Rites and Rituals

Nusta Karpay Rites

The Nusta Karpay are seven sacred initiations from the Andean Q’ero lineage of Peru, offering a deep reconnection to the Divine Feminine energies of the Earth and Cosmos. Rooted in ancient Incan tradition, these rites awaken the heart, purify the energy field, and restore harmony between the masculine and feminine within. Each rite carries the frequency of a Nusta—an Andean goddess or nature spirit—inviting you to embody grace, intuition, and sacred reciprocity with Pachamama. Often linked to the Pleiadian star teachings, the Nusta Karpay open pathways to ancestral wisdom and higher dimensional guidance, supporting personal and planetary healing.

Koto Kuna Karpays

The Koto Kuna Karpays are sacred initiations from the Q’ero lineage that awaken the ancient codes of harmony, unity, and divine remembrance within the luminous body. These transmissions reconnect us with the original principles of Munay (love), Yachay (wisdom), and Llankay (sacred action), aligning heart, mind, and spirit with the living consciousness of Pachamama and the Apus. Through the Koto Kuna, we remember ourselves as bridges between Earth and Sky—beings of the stars walking in reciprocity with all of creation.

The Munay-Ki

The Munay-Ki are a series of nine sacred rites transmitted by the Q’ero shamans of the Andes, preserved for thousands of years and shared in modern times by Alberto Villoldo. These rites are not teachings or practices to learn, but energetic initiations that carry the essence of the Q’ero lineage, offering a direct transmission of life force and consciousness. Each rite activates and strengthens different aspects of the human being—healing wounds, opening the heart, clarifying purpose, and aligning the practitioner with the natural and cosmic order. The Munay-Ki are designed to support the transformation of the individual into a healer and conscious participant in life, fostering harmony with self, community, and the Earth. By receiving these initiations, one becomes a living bridge for love, wisdom, and right action in the world.
